She became president of the Tayos Doll Club 1998 and began to build her reputation as a doll artist. While perfecting her skills, she began designing and teaching doll making under her new business name Mrs. Sew & Sew. She has won numerous awards and ribbons for her creativity and imagination. Marge shares her skills and knowledge through classes in California, Nevada and New Mexico. In addition to cloth doll designs, Marge designs and teaches various mixed media projects at the Stamp art Shoppe in Roseville. She continues to explore the unlimited possibilities of combining her interests as a cloth doll artist as well as a mixed media artist. Both art forms play a major roll in her designs. Marge continues to take classes and keep abreast of the latest products on the market in order to develop new techniques to offer to her students. Marge has served on several philanthropic boards, as well as many community based organizations. Marge graduated with honors with an Associate of Arts Degree in Business from Sacramento City College.
