Altered Fabrics

Altered Fabrics

 

Through demonstrations and hands on techniques students will learn to create unique fabrics and to adapt tired and plain fabrics and trims for future dolls, cloth journals, quilts and imagination projects. Students will play with fabric and fibers all day to their hearts content.

Crow Mother

 Techniques being taught in this class include the many ways of stuffing body parts.  Free motion machine embroidery to bring out the feathers on the crows tail.  Create Crows feet using wire, yarn and a little glue.  Inset eyes and add eyelids.
